What we make

Cotton pyjama programmes

Woven and jersey lines run on separate dedicated lines — so a piping-heavy woven set and a jersey basics set can ship in the same season without competing for capacity.

Woven poplin & sateen sets

Notched-collar or mandarin-collar sets at 120–160 GSM, with self or contrast piping, chest pockets and covered plackets. The classic heritage look for gifting and department stores.

Combed-cotton jersey sets

180–240 GSM combed single jersey, crew or henley necks, rib cuffs and neckbands. Soft, stretchy and pre-shrunk — the everyday programme for DTC and subscription brands.

Nightdresses & short sets

Cotton voile and jersey nightdresses, plus shorts sets for summer drops. Flannel options from 260 GSM for autumn/winter — all on the same grading blocks.

Fabric specification

What we actually put on the tech pack

Cotton numbers you can check against a bulk test report.

Core qualities
100% combed-cotton single jersey 180 / 200 / 220 / 240 GSM; woven poplin 120–140 GSM and cotton sateen 130–160 GSM. Yarn counts 21s–60s to match hand-feel and price point.
Shrinkage control
Fabric is pre-shrunk and compacted before cutting; finished garments held to a maximum 3% residual shrinkage in length and width after three home washes at 40 °C.
Pilling
Combed yarn plus enzyme bio-polishing to reach grade 4 on the Martindale pilling scale — the difference between a pyjama that sells and one that collects returns.
Colour & dyeing
Reactive dyeing to Pantone TCX with lab dips per colour. Fastness to washing grade 4, to perspiration grade 4, to light grade 4 — declared on the bulk test report.
Details
Self and contrast piping, embroidered monograms, woven brand labels, custom packaging and barcoding — all specified on the tech pack so sets arrive retail-ready.
Testing
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 type testing can be arranged per lot. Azo dyes, formaldehyde, pH and heavy metals tested on request.

FAQ

Cotton pyjama questions buyers actually ask

100 sets per style per colour. Cotton is dyed to order, so a 100-set minimum keeps the dye lot economical while still letting you test size ratios before scaling.
Woven poplin or sateen suits classic notched-collar sets and warmer markets; combed jersey suits minimalist sets and gifting with a softer drape. We produce both and can split your first order across the two.
Raw cotton can shrink 5–8%. We pre-shrink and compact the fabric before cutting and hold finished garments to a maximum 3% residual shrinkage at 40 °C — measured on the bulk test report, not assumed.
Yes. Self or contrast piping, covered plackets, chest pockets, embroidered monograms and woven labels are all in regular production — send the reference garment and we will counter-sample it in 7–14 working days.
